Re: Looking for lockable glove box

Well it's brand new basically, installed once and removed again before it ever left the garage
I may sell it, I'd like to wait a bit a see if anybody wants to trade, if not I could let you know.

Re: Looking for lockable glove box

Lockable glove box is cool .. I have one. Storage is king! Have the glove box, the upper map bag, and between seat bag. The glove box was a PITA (Pain In The Ass)to install. Almost got a divorce over that project because I used the wife to help me there. This is for sure a two man )(&*&(*^ person job. You have to take loose the whole front plastic to reach in there to attach these u-bolts. I guess you could do it by yourself if you did not loosen, and just removed the front plastic

Re: Looking for lockable glove box

I got mine from Polaris and it is sweet, but the sand got in the mechanism and f-ed the button up, looking for a new metal one out of a car or something, but the box is nice and don't look 'after market' fits great. Was a biznitch to install.

Re: Looking for lockable glove box

Actually you dont have to loosen any plastic to install the PoPo lockable glove box.

Just think outside the glove box...

Put the U-Bolts reversed to what they show - threads pointing inside the glove box. Make sure to use broad washers. Mine been that way 9 months no issues. Except you may scrape your knuckles reaching in there some day...
