I developed a leak in my rear diff a little over a month ago,I then noticed my front axles had a lot of slack in the diff.I had just changed the fluids in both prior to this as it was 1 year since purchase.so I take to dealer and they say it needs both diffs,so inspector comes and approves but wants oil change receipts.so I give the ones I had done.they deny it because fluids were changed 2 weeks before bringing in. I told them thats when manual says to .so they want all receipts from time of purchase .then they tell me there are no vin#,mileage,or hours on receipts so how do they know I used oil on this machine.like I'm going to pay triple for oil and run in something else.but tell me that my owners manual says it has to be documented if I do my own oil changes.I told them I had bought oil at several different stores and not one asked for info.she says its not their job and pretty much I'm screwed.after sending in more receipts and talking to a guy today he okayed all repairs and parts under warranty .so if you do your own oil changes be sure to write down mileage, hours an vin# or they can deny claim if you get the wrong handler.now I have an extra diff as I bought the one on sale here last week for sale and got it in today. If I hadn't bought they probably would've denyed it.
