Re: air cleaner problem

mdevans I don't see any negativity in my post, just my opinion. And it is funny you mentioned the ford explorer case, if you follow that lawsuit you probably know what lawyer pocketed and what the owners get, don't you ? But don't worry, this is my last posting on this topic, I am on this board getting informations not to debating a lawsuits.

Dealer also did recall fix. and i also greased the lid on the air filter housing. I did all of this fresh before i went on the kentucky black mountain ride and i still got a little dust film past the the filter in my air intake tube that go's to the throttle body. my air filter is vary dirty the only reson i can think of for causing this is because of the location of the filter housing. thay put it in the middle of a dust cloud. all of my atv's wear tuck under the seat or installed where the gas tank would have gone if the tank was moved to rear of the unit. this helped box the filter housing in and the housing wasent setting in a dust cloud. I need to look at this filter housing and see if it has a drain hole big enough to let dust in because i have sealed everything else. im woundering if the dust came in through the hole and was to much for the filter in that spot. i havent cleaned my filter yet and i will look at it and see if there is a heavey dust spot in one area. however to do all this to keep dust out is not right and polaris needs to fix it. In case your woundering i was on the trail for 10 hours. and my rzr did run great. for the most part i think my set up will work but in heavy dust conditions it dident keep every bit of it out. and if you do filter housing mods that pemently change the set up you void the warrenty. now that being said what do you have to say MR DOUBTY MOOSTAFFA. If the rzr dident have an air filter problem and if it was working like the other units on the market you wouldent hear me bitching. yes all units let dust in but the rzr is letting enough in to get pass the filter. and the way i have my rzr set up and its still getting past the filter. It would have to be getting alot of dust in one area or somthing. anyhow polaris should relocate this filter housing and it was cought quick enough so i think it shoul be free of charge for all rzr's. It's not our falt they dident fix it before too many got sold. remember the ford explorer. everyone stick togather and if you are not with us on this go to another post because our minds are maid up on this and we dont want your negativity on this one.
MDEVANS,CAN I GET YOUR # AND ADDRESS FOR MY PETITION?

Re: air cleaner problem

I agree that lawyers make alot of money in some cases. and i also agree that the world would still be a hand shake if alot of them where honest to themself. but the world is what it is and you have to make the best of it or just roll over and look the other way. in the case of the explorer alot of people did get paid alot of money. people did get hurt or die. and the others got new tires. you can only do so much. in my opinion the rzr is different because it was brought to polaris attention just after production. and they dident take care of it correctly. this is when a lawyer should stand up and make a differance. just like they did with the explorer. ( the lawyers that made money worked for ford and firestone). also rzr freak when you get the people to stand up and you are ready we will talk on the phone. Im begining to wounder if theres a bunch of blow hards on this forum. rzr wreaker needs more than five people. miloususa if your on this post and not on board with use you are a negitive. so quit playing the roll of the lawyers that you talk so bad about and go away. Or step up and prove how great the air system is that polaris brags about. Because its not any better or as good as any other system out there. And polaris says that it breaths fresh cab air. well fresh cab air mixed with alot of dust from the tires just below the filter housing is not a great thing. all they need to do is move the filter housing or at least make a better air box for the filter housing. hell if they maid an outerwares cover it would help alot more than what they did.

I'M NOT TRYING TO SUE THESE GUY'S AND GET RICH.I'M PUSHING THIS ISSUE BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY HAVE A PROBLEM(MAJOR) AND THERE SELLING IT AND THEN TELLING ME I BOUGHT IT NOW ITS MY PROBLEM.THEY HAVE DENIED ME AT 3 DIFFERENT DEALERS.ONE DEALER SAID THAT POLARIS FIXES IT WITH SILICONE.THATS WHAT THEY PUT ON MINE .THAT WAS A JOKE AND NOW A MESS.I JUST WANT THEM TO PAY FOR THE PROBLEM AND NOT RIP ANYMORE PEOPLE OFF.I TOOK MINE OUT THE FIRST DAY I BROUGHT IT HOME FOR A COUPLE HOURS AND WHEN I GOT HOME AND SAW THE DIRT IN IT,I CALLED THEM RIGHT THEN AND THEY TOLD ME TUFF.THATS WRONG.I TOLD THEM I WAS BRINGING IT BACK SO THEY COULD FIX IT AND THEY SAID WE WILL WITH SILICONE.WHEN I SAID I WANTED TO RETURN IT,THEY REALLY LAUGHED AT ME.SO NOW I'M GOING FORWARD WITH THIS MATTER THE LAWYER SAYS ITS A STRONG CASE(THE MILLS LAW FIRM--415-455-1326--ROBERT MILLS)WITH ENOUGH NAMES I CAN GET IT MAKES THE CASE EVEN STRONGER.THESE IS NOT A SUE HAPPY CASE BUT A RIGHT /WRONG SITUATION.JUST CLEARING THIS UP WITH YOU.THAT OTHER PERSON ON HERE ACTS LIKE I'M SUE HAPPY WITH NOTHING ELSE TO DO.

Re: air cleaner problem

Rzrfreak I wish you luck in your pursuit. I'd feel better about your chances of gathering support if you had been around long enough that people know you and maybe trust your opinion. But you don't even know how long the Rzr has been available? Haven't heard of Gen1,2,3? You call yourself Rzrfreak??
Sorry to come off so negative but frankly nearly ANYone else would have gotten more support right away than a newb with one week on the forum and only this one topic. Your quest may be honorable but your approach is no different than all the slimy lawfirms that have been soliciting clients to sue the manufacturers over rollovers.

AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS,RZRFREAK WENT THROUGH.WAS I SUPPOSE TO FIND OUT THE YEAR THEY FIRST CAME OUT AND IF THEY HAD PROBLEMS,GET SERIAL NUMBERS OFF IT,AND SO ON AND SO ON.ME NOT KNOWING HOW LONG THEY HAVE BEEN OUT OR GEN IS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHATS RIGHT OR WRONG.NOR DOES HOW LONG I'VE BEEN ON HERE.AGAIN, I BOUGHT A NEW ONE.IT HAS PROBLEMS.DEALER HAS ARGUED WITH ME AND WON'T FIX IT.AS A CONSUMER THAT IS WRONG.I GOT ON HERE TO SEE IF OTHER PEOPLE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AS I DID.NOT HERE TO ARGUE WITH ANYONE OR TO STIR UP ANYTHING,SCAM ANYONE,ETC..I'M ON HERE TO SIMPLY ASK FOR THE ONES THAT ARE OR DID HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THERE AIRBOX AND IF THEY WANT TO BE ON THE LIST FOR SUPPORT WHICH WILL SHOW THAT THERE IS OTHERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM.FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DONT WANT TO SUPPORT IT,FINE!! DON'T RESPOND TO MY FORUM.I'M NOT LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO START AN ARGUEMENT WITH OR HERE ABOUT YOUR NEGATIVITY.BUT DONT COME AT ME LIKE I'M SOME BAD PERSON HERE JUST BECAUSE I HAVE THE BALLS TO FIGHT BACK AND YOU DON'T!

Re: air cleaner problem

It's not your forum it's your thread, and lose the caps, Freak. Your lack of internet, forum and especially RZR knowledge is not helping your case.
