looking for "that guy"
wow, what an awesome bunch of guys, i am proud to say i belong... thanks to all vendors with their spirit of giving, i applaud you all.
in a somewhat related topic, why cant all of us non vendor members pay it forward as well. someone with more time on there hands than i could set up a paypal account for a honorable cause or family, and everyone chip in sort of a adopt a family b4 x-mas. my business is n the toliet this year but that doesnt mean i cant dig down deep an find an xtra 20 bucks or so to give to someone out there that make make things easier. lets be real guys, we are all drooling over all this "stuff" that the vendors are providing, in this time especially, we need to do something to help out as well, how many members we got? if everybody gave what they could maybe we all could make a difference. maybe theres a member out there that has lost his job, gonna have to sell his rzr, or cant provide for the kids right now. lets do something, there is still time. please dont let this reply fall on deaf ears. i got fifty bucks ready to paypal, for someone that has an idea of how it could be used best. i dont care to no the family or person we help, i just challange everybody to give something, even if its a buck...... somebody please take the reigns and lets get something going today...... james Last edited by trailblazer; December 19th, 2009 at 09:29 AM. |

Re: looking for "that guy"
if you want me to play santa, i guess i will, i hope i can find someone to take this idea and run with it. i prefer to be a "silent santa", but time will tell. but if any of you have a canidate for the spirit of giving, pm me. either i personally will make the selection, or i am open for input on how to do this from any of the senior board members.
we just cant afford to wait on this let me know where to send money, or what. i would also like next year to start this early and maybe a year long collection, might warrant a nice prize to some board member's child.... maybe even raising the prem. membership dues 5 bucks as well. i dont know, just an idea. c'mon guys, these vendors gave to us, show them that it doesnt stop with them. everyone with a paypal account can afford 5 bucks, if you can do more thats awesome. |

FJK is the man. He has paid it forward more than anyone. I am sure when he reads this he will take the lead and run with it.

Re: looking for "that guy"
while we are all polishing on our 15,000 dollar "toys" and while we are anxiously awaiting that new long travel or shock kit to come in the mail, i want everyone to think about someone out there that has fallen on hard times. and while as a group we are spending thousands a week in "stuff" i want everyone to think of what a donation of 5 bucks would mean to someone out there with a family and nothing under the tree. we can make a difference to one family out there. i need help, if you know someone on the board that is too proud to ask for help let me know, i dont care if all i got when this is over is 100 bucks, there has been times in my life that 100 bucks would have went a long way. i have been blessed in the past 5 yrs with my business and i want to give back, not with a hand out, but with a hand up...
help me please. thanks to sand spanker and dunertunes, we are up to already 125.00 total, we should conservatively get this up to 500.00 bucks by wednesday night. i will then gladly forward the funds to someone to give in the name of the board members of rzr forums .net....... |

Re: looking for "that guy"
tom, thank you for your donation. lets keep this going hard, and see what we can accomplish as a group. i would like for a senior member to get on board with this an discuss ideas on how best to put this money to use. we can continue to use my paypal accnt for a clearing house, and i will dispurse funds to whoever we agree upon. thanks again.
