Polaris RZR and RZR S Performance ECU

DragonFire Racing has spent the past several years trying to find the perfect balance of performance and reliability for the RZR and RZR S. We have had concerns with increasing the RPM on the RZR with the Factory Crank. So in conjunction with releasing our 800 CC Billet Stroker Crank, Hi Performance Piston and Cam, we are releasing our Pre Programmed Race Map ignition for the Polaris RZR and RZR S.
Now you have all the EFI tuning you need. The new Controller allows you to take modify your Stock RZR looking for more Top Speed, and a better fuel map with bolt on performance pipes and intakes. It is also ready for a full 800 CC Race Motor.
1. You can map your own fuel maps, timing maps, TPS maps and much more...
2. increases/decreases your REV. Limit up to 2500RPM.
3. increase the fuel up to 80%.
4. advance the timing up to 32 degree.
5. This unit is also already pre-mapped, it is a direct plug in replacement

They will be sold as kits but with separate part numbers so you can mix and match. I will have a full price sheet by the end of November and we should be ready to ship by early December. I will post up any and all info I get on this thing as fast as I can, it is going to bring RZR to a whole new level.

Will you be offering head work also? (porting and bigger valves)
Or are you gonna let somebody like HPD handle that?

We are launching a motor work line from pistons, cranks, rods, heads, all of this and more will be out soon by the end of next month you should see some of the most pissed off RZR's and RZR S's you have ever seen! We are building kits and shooting for some really high HP numbers with some applications. I will keep all of you up to date with new info and as always feel free to give me a call at 800-708-9803 Thanks, Chris.

Re: Polaris RZR and RZR S Performance ECU

I've had my Polaris RZR S since the 1st of August and so far I've only done basic mods for usability on the trails. Things like an EMP bumper, an ATV 3000 Superwinch, Polaris rockgurards, trunk, gas cans, and a few lights.

I finally decided to do a few performance mods and decided that I like the approach Dragonfire is taking with their RZR S Performance ECU so I called Chris yesterday and ordered one and then while I was on the phone we started talking about exhaust systems and I ended up ordering one of the Dragonfire RZR S Twin Dual Exhaust systems.

When it all gets to my place and I get it installed I will report back on how it all works.

Next step is the clutch and I really appreciate all the work BlackBart is doing on providing us useful information on the clutch workings.

BTW, if you call Chris about the Dragonfire parts you will get excellent treatment and a very good discount.

Re: Polaris RZR and RZR S Performance ECU

Nothing was mentioned about an exchange so I am presuming the old one is still mine and I will be getting a completely new one.

Re: Polaris RZR and RZR S Performance ECU

We will be putting together kits with pistons cranks and rods all Dragonfire spec and in many different options such as stroker high comp racing kit to low comp Turbo aplications for all you DFR turbo guys out there we are making a kit now that has been spun to 10,000RPM and is pumping about 25lbs of boost so we will be talking some high high horsepower kits for the RZR and RZR S in the very near future.

Sound great, hopefully you will have some kit soon to look on. I will for sure be interested in some set up with low compression pistons for turbo.

Re: Polaris RZR and RZR S Performance ECU

This looks like the same computer that Lonestar has on there site labeled the Procom ECU with the DFR logo in the back ground? I have read from other topics and forums that the procom didn't do much for the RZRs? Not flaming or bashing just looking for info because every thread about procom is poor quality. Any clarification on if this would work for my setup.

09 RZRs
LTE true Duals
Powercommander V

What kind of gain can I see by adding this ecu into that setup?

Thanks
Brett
