Does anyone have a track kit for the rzr. All of the manufacturers of tracks I have contacted say that the adapter kit hasn't been made for this model yet. My buddies have rhinos on tracks and they are smokin in snow. Also if anyone has any pics of L&R cabs and installed heaters other than polaris ones (pics I Mean) inside or out I would appreciate it.

Thanks for the tip on the beaver cab. They do make great products. I have been talking to them but hope the doors don't take forever to make. Was wondering about the L&R cab if there is a gap from the front glass to the hood or is it sealed? My problem is that the door in my toy hauler is actually 67 inches high and thev rzr is 69". Doesn't make sense right? Well some how the incline of my loading ramp helps me squeeze her in. With about an inch and a half to spare. I am hoping if the lock n ride top drives me over the edge with height restrictions I could just take it off in 5 minutes. Getting polaris products in canada is highway robbery though. We are being robbed blind compared to US prices. That makes the beaver a little attractive to me but I need doors.
I would really like to know how those tracks worked out in deep snow. I may be a little late for them this season but next winter I have to ride on a mat. The rzr makes a lot of sharp cuts in deep snow, it can throw you off a little. Also if you take your foot off the gas on ice, look out!! The engine brake spins it around like a top.

Quad 55,where are you located.I'm in BC interior and am glad to see the snow gone(in most places I ride).I was under the belief the rzr would have the same EBS and hill decent control as the 800.It is too scary to ride down the steep stuff I have around here in winter.I will too get tracks for next year

dgal I am in Nfld. Still lots of snow here, on the interior more than on the coast. I have a cabin about 6k from the highway in the bush and the beaten trails in tree shade hold snow for quite some time. This past weekend I really struggled getting to the cabin due to the snow especially on one particular ascent. That gave me great spiritual thoughts about getting tracks. I am glad I have received help here in locating them. Kimpex for one doesn't have our mounting bracket yet. I really like their commander tracks, they are large and aggressive. I have the summer to wait but at least now I know I have an alternative.

Hey, where in NH? I thought about this also, but have been having trouble with the snow packing up under and have a problem shifting. Any solution to the freezing shift cable. I think the tracks, by the looks of these pictures will only help that freezing issue. Any suggestions?

Actually I am in NL Canada on the Burin Peninsula. I haven't had a prob. with freezing shift cable, but the throttle cable is another story. It freezes quite often, and very unnerving especially when loading it in a trailer. I am afraid I'll add another door LOL. I wonder if this would be a warranty issue??? It froze wide open on a ride a couple weekends ago, I had to shut it down with the key. I reached in behind the drivers seat between the wheel and wheel well and shake the cable there until I see tension on the gas pedal.
As for skis.. Well the advantage an atv has over a snowmobile is that we have no drag surfaces such as skis. All contact surfaces are pulling forward but I can see where skis would be neat.

The tracks look awesome but for the price I wonder about just buying a snowmachine. I can't wait to hear your report.

Where do you ride? I live in Sheridan. There is a LOT of snow in the Bighorns this year.

With a wee bit of welding and scratching your head you can make the track kit for the ATV's of the Ranger work. I help with the fab work on a kit that was for a sportsman 4-wheeler and it worked fine after working the bugs out. We just had to fab up some brackets(the ones that keep the tracks from going all the way around) that would work and then we welded them into place. If I have to do it over again I would make the brackets bolt on, but either way it is totally possible with a welder and paitence.
