Re: Popping Under Front End

Shouldn't Polaris have taken care of all these things before they run it out? What a bunch of shit.

There are many posts on this problem. Polaris is being quiet about the fact they did (do) a lousy job of setup at the factory. Most owners have found that retorquing the axle nuts to 80 ft. lbs solved the vast majority of problems. My dealer assessed my (same) problem as a bad CV joint, but because I had a two inch lift, they wouldn't warranty it. I went home, retorqued the axle nut myself, and haven't had a noise since. Polaris is useless. They just happen to have started a great craze, and I love their machine. For every POS Polaris part that breaks or malfunctions, I will be changing the part for a decent aftermarket replacement. Should I have to? NO!! But this is the machine I have, and when it works, I just love it. Nearly everybody changes stuff about their ride they don't like, whether it's a quad or a Chevy diesel truck.
