The new 6.4 Powerstroke! It comes with a compound turbo system and it's super easy to make a ton of power
What rock have you been hiding under? Go pick up an issue of diesel power or go to dieselplace.com. I have a 2003 gmc that is running 675 at the flywheel and that is only with a tuner. You add exhaust, dual cp3's, injectors, aftermarket turbo, stage 4 tranny, ATs copilot, rods and pistons and yo have yourself a 10 second truck that weighs 7000 pounds. There is also a drag racing circuit for us as well as a pulling circuit.

I am going to try and get some day time video of me blasting some diesels in the RZR this weekend as well

My truck makes 350hp and 650pounds of torque stock. These diesels are somthing else nowdays. They also get better milage and wil run 500,000 miles no problem.Plus you dont need to run off blood I mean fossile oil.Sorry to jack the thread. You RZR looks like A rocket Doug!Lets see if you can top Bigmikes wheelie.

Haha wheelies...I can go ludicrous speed! After some more tuning and raising the boost I will probably go plaid!

Re: Turbo RZR-S vs 498awhp STI

The STI was out of town last weekend getting some new tuning...needless to say he wasn't very happy after the race

All new clutching is coming in for me and I hope the next time we go out I can hit at least 70 mph!

Move videos of the RZR trashing street cars coming soon

Re: Turbo RZR-S vs 498awhp STI

A 500whp AWD car will be running a low 11-second 1/4 mile pass.... That's at about 7lbs/hp power to weight ratio.

So unless you have 160hp+ at the wheels, your friends hp numbers are way off!

That, or he has a HUGE turbo (which he probably does pushing 500hp) and was well below his powerband.

The STI is legit...it has a Cosworth block and a large aftermarket turbo kit. The reason the track time isn't very fast is because they don't prep our tracks and we race at almost 5,000ft...the air is very hot and thin. This race between us was at 7,000ft. Oh and my RZR is REALLY that fast

Here's the company that his engine and turbo upgrades and I have dyno charts to prove it: http://www.goodspeedperformance.com/

Re: Turbo RZR-S vs 498awhp STI

I'm not saying your RZR couldn't beat him from "certain" speeds... and I'm sure it's damn fast... I just know how ridiculously fast 500whp STI's are... so it's hard to believe, but impressive.

Trust me I couldn't believe it either! My best friend is a huge Subaru fan and I raced his WRX with the Cobb Stage II and beat him by almost two cars! That's when I had to call out the big gun and race the STI.

I am hoping with some clutch work I can run at least 70 mph and make the race window as big as possible.
