You can, depending on the offense... I'm too old for that crap. I used to do that a lot with my old STI, years ago... but that was in South Carolina!

Re: 0 to 60 mph times
our evo 9 with 360whp stock turbo, did 11.8 at 116, thats with a 1.8 sec 60 foot. im guessing probably a 3.5 0-60, but it just got back from the shop with a full race 35r, not tuned so i dont know any numbers or anything. and our 94 supra with a t-72 single turbo built auto did 10.4 at 139 on slicks thats at 740whp though.

Re: 0 to 60 mph times
good god, i thought our turbo was big.
in one of our sti's, it was a 07, we put a 30r in it, blew the motor on the dyno, put a crawford short block 2.5L built motor and then we realized the 30r was to small, so we put a 37r. that was a big turbo. i think we put down around 600ish with no meth. 94 supra auto t-72, 740whp (race gas) 93.5 supra auto bpu 440whp 93.5 supra 6 speed bpu 440whp acura integra JUN 2.0 storker sc61 turbo 602whp (race gas) 04 srt-4 bolts ons. 05 srt-4 acr edt. sc61 turbo 04 srt-4 sc61 turbo, built head. 04 sti stage 2 bolts ons 07 sti crawford motor 37r 04 mustand cobra slp loudmouths, pulley, tune, intake 03 M3 exhaust 04 M3 convertible stock 05 evo 8 ssl stage 2 bolts ons 05 evo 8 mr greddy t-67 turbo 480whp 06 evo 9 se shepracing stag 2 tranny, shep racing stage 3 transfer rebuild, 35r <car now. 94 nissan skyline gts bolts ons i think thats all the cars weve had in the past 2 years lol |

[QUOTE jsawyer;
" I had a new M5 pull behind me last week, I put four cars on him in about 6 blocks I love people who spend 100k+ on a car and expect to beat exerything on the road."[End QUOTE]A new BMW M5 puts out 500hp. An STI may beat an M5 off the line, but if the vehicles are doing 25mph or better, a stock STI is dead meat. If you "put four cars on him in about 6 blocks'' the M5 driver was not seriously racing you. I have a MB E55 and I have raced several STIs starting at about 20-25 mph and above and it is not even a contest once I hook up. Off the line, the STI AWD will hook up, but if I keep my head and judiciously apply the throttle, it does not take me that long to catch up and once I do, well it is no longer a race. I live in the Seattle area and I would be happy to go to a track and put my money on the line to prove my point. You put up enough money to make it worth my time and I will show you what "100k+ on a car" can do. RJ |

Re: 0 to 60 mph times
I gave up on the 60 mph times.I gotta put A front hub on the S this week,then I will record its 0 to 60 .I think J Sawyer has A whipple 3.4 on A stang,it should perform A hell of alot better than A STI.Not that any of this matters your going to get way more pussy with A100k car than A fast cheap car.

Point is, for the money you really can't beat cars like the Evo and STI and the potential they have for the money you spend. Big Valley's STI run's 10 second 1/4 mile passes, and it uses the stock drivetrain!!! Just a beefed up engine... The point is, most people who buy 60K+ sports cars assume they're the fastest on the road... and it's very satisfying to put them in their place. I'm sure your M5 is very fast, and it's on my "dream" list... I just can't afford it!

RJ ![]() Bottom line, I own a 60k+ mustang which proves that you can throw money at anything and make it fast (also I an a F-ing moron for throwing money down the drain ). My point is that you M5 owners automaically think that you hold the trump card![]() I have seen what your 100k car can do, thanks for playing
