Re: best UHMW skid plate

I've got full plates on both my XPs from the company you sent the info about the 1000. I've been over really jagged nasty rocks in areas down here and these things are amazing. In fact after being with the 1000s with no skid plates there's no comparison on how our 900s will slide across the rocks and not get hung up near as easy. Hopefully they'll get the 1000 plates done soon.

I got the Tusk UHMW skid because I'm budget oriented. It's made well. I don't see how you could make one much better.

I know the factory utv ones are great. I put them through the roughest test (that I would ever try) ever this weekend... Barely any scratches. I am super impressed.

Re: best UHMW skid plate

I am really impressed with my Trail Armor skids on my XP900. Their skid actually slides into the rear of the frame and extends all the way to the trailing arms. Also love thier UHMW rock sliders that are made to match the skids. If they build them the same way for the XP1000, I'll buy one.

2nd that. I put a Tusk on my 800 and 900 quality fit and price was all good.
I would recomend the Tusk by Rocky Mountain ATV
