Polaris Canvas Cab

So I have a 2013 rzr that I bought an 08-11 cab for (part #2877872). I heard the older cab was better and since I wanted to add the old S cage extension I thought I needed the older cab.

I didn't consider that the rzr side bars had changed so now I have no where to attach the rear straps or the rear sides where the wooden blocks are.

So now I'm looking at selling this cab and buying the newer one (part #2878273) or modifying it. I want to make sure I get it right this time so I figured I better ask some questions first and order later.

Does the newer cab (2878273) have cutouts for the S cage extension?

Where do the rear straps and wooden blocks attach on the new style cab?

Re: Polaris Canvas Cab

I assume the bottom hinge is the same in both kits? Since mine is already installed I would prefer to just swap them rather than drill out the rivets.

The old style one looks like this:

Re: Polaris Canvas Cab

Do you still have the older cab, and do you know if it will fit the xp?

Re: Polaris Canvas Cab

Yeah, I ended up making it work with some extra straps. Not ideal, but I decided it was better than taking a loss trying to sell it.

I don't see why it wouldn't fit the xp, but you might be better off with the new style. I heard the newer ones used door handles and not magnet latches but I think this info may be incorrect.
