Public Land Use Petition

I saw this on another forum:

"The U.S. Forest Service wants to close 60%-80% of trails open to off roading. Here is a link to a petition you can sign if you want your voice to be heard. They need 50,000 names. Pass it along..."

I signed it and sent the link to 45 people I know who will also sign it. Let's not let the Liberal Communist machine in this country destroy our freedom.

Re: Public Land Use Petition

You hit it on the head. The tree huggers are working hard to get it closed for any motorized use here. We find ourselves heading South or west most of the time. There's some pretty good riding west of here near plains, mostly forest service roads. Not much for actual trails any more. The friggin hippies and tree huggers don't even want us using the abandoned forest service roads here. It's a heated battle. Idaho is not putting up with them as much as Montana is. In Idaho, riders with side arms gather in groups of several hundred and just flat out remove the gates and go riding. Forest service officials tend to be afraid to intervene. I think that's what we need to do in Montana. So to answere your question, we go to Idaho a lot, about 100 miles.
