Quiet muffler?

I sent an e-mail to Polaris, to no avail as they always re-direct you to a dealer... then the dealer re-directs you to ask Polaris. Dah!
I would like a quieter muffler, since we use our Polaris a considerable amount of time traveling the highways and mountains.
After about a half a day of that steady noise that sounds like a Piper Cub... ya get a headache!
No one know what can be done...I am also worried about changing back pressure or changing something that would be harmful to the engine. I thought of adding a slip-over the end pipe, with a small glass-pack. Anyone have the answer?
Appreciate your thoughts!!!

Thanks

Re: Quiet muffler?

Seems to be one of the biggest complaints with the Razor. You would think Polaris would listen to their customers and come up with an answere. Not everyone is a stupid punk kid that loves the sound of a pinto with the muffler falling off.

Re: Quiet muffler?

Just be glad you don't have a Rhino. They are even louder!

Re: Quiet muffler?

I drove a Rhino, wasn't impressed with it. I'm sure we'll come up with a quieter muffler.
