Canada DMC Seat Dampener/Suspension Seat Bracket

Hey RZRF Gang,

I came across this website while surfing and playing the "What will I buy next for my RZR game".

Desert Molding Concepts, Inc - Polaris RZR XP 900 ProductsWe have some great products for your Polaris RZR XP 900 that help with the usability, comfort, and protection of your ride.

Does anyone run the Seat Dampener or the Suspension Seat bracket.

I Have a 570, and ride Sand/ Root Trails that are heavily Wooped out.

I weigh 130 (ish), and my passenger is about 170. I'm wondering which one would be better to get, and your thoughts/reviews.

Not 18 anymore, my passenger has some back issues.

Please chime in

Re: DMC Seat Dampener/Suspension Seat Bracket

I've got a bad back. 2 herniated discs in my lower back, and one in my neck. On a ride in April I aggravate my lower back and could barely move for a few days. So I went on a mission to make the ride smoother.

Step 1 - I added RacerTech Dual Rate springs. Much better.
Step 2 - I added these springs to the bottom of my stock seats.

I put them on after balking at buying suspension seats sight unseen. I've only been on one ride since I put them in and drove it hard. For the price I like what they did on that first ride. It will take a lot more riding to know for sure, but first time out I was more comfortable than on previous rides. The seat base is about 2" higher in the front and 1" higher in the back, which is the first thing you notice.

Re: DMC Seat Dampener/Suspension Seat Bracket

I bought the newer version to try out on the drivers seat. I like it so much I just bought another one for the passenger side. Like the other post stated you really can't beat the price for what you get. Thanks DMC!

I did both seats at the same time. DW was very impressed with the ride.

Re: DMC Seat Dampener/Suspension Seat Bracket

Thanks Everyone for chiming in!

I appreciate your time telling me about your experiences.

I am having a hard time deciding which one to get! The seat Dampener, or the suspension seat.

I do know whatever one I decide, I will be getting them for both seats....

Have a great Friday, and weekend!

To clarify, I have the suspension seat. I can't believe it works as we as it does.

So you have both? Do you think the base makes the ride even better? We have a 08 Rzr it's in awesome shape and loaded up as we want we would lie a more comfortable ride and have considered a new Rzr but just ont want to spring for the cost so we thought about just getting better seats to hold us over.

We r thinking about the prp hibacks

Just want to clarify that both the Suspension Seat Brackets and Zero Shock Seat dampers are designed for the factory stock RZR seat. They do not work with a race seat due to the solid design. Also due to the fact that a race seat can raise the seating position as much as 2" trying to add my Brackets would make for a very high seating position.
Thanks,
Mark

Mark

Re: DMC Seat Dampener/Suspension Seat Bracket

I have the dampers and am completely impressed with the product. I noticed the difference immediately with out even moving the RZR. The slight repositioning of the seat angle is much more comfortable than stock.

The difference when on the trails is huge. I am very happy with the product and Mark is a top notch guy to work with, very helpful.

Re: DMC Seat Dampener/Suspension Seat Bracket

What is the difference between the Dampers and Suspension? Does the Suspension give a softer ride? Thx
