Spare Tire Mount

Hey Guy's,
Has anyone order this item for the RZR? I order the item from the internet. This Holder allows a RANGER RZR operator to carry a spare tire outside the cargo box, thus preserving precious cargo space at $29.99 list price Thinking I was getting a complete tire mount assembly.

What I received was a bar that mounts to the Lock & Ride Accessory rack. The Polaris RZR accessory site shows a picture of a complete assembly. After you read further. You discover that you have to have a RANGER Spare Tire Holder [2875185], Pre-Runner Rear Bumper
[2876403-458] and Lock & Ride™ Accessory Rack [2876378-458], each sold separately.) Problem is they do not tell you how much the Spare tire holder costs and it is not listed on their Web site. You ultimately need top spend about $700.00 to get everything you need to just maount a spare tire. Buyers beware!!!

Re: Spare Tire Mount

They got me with that one too. I have ordered many accessories and none came with instructions longer then one sentence and a stick picture. also the bolts on my rocksliders stripped ( others have had this problem too). front bumper light holes had to be drilled out. etc.

honeymoon is ending quickly with my new machine.

Re: Spare Tire Mount

I always wanted the Lock n Ride for mounting lights, speakers and the XM antenna, the bumper was a must as it looked good and did what I needed. I then purchased the tire mount kit and the mount for the mount so for me it worked out pretty good.
