As I said on the rhino forums, the rhino is awesome, but stock motor to stock motor, the rzr wins. Both my dad and my brother have $3000 in motor work to there rhinos and I still beat them. My brother has 6" long travel and can take me in the big whoops only. My brother said he would have sold his rhino for a rzr if he didn't need the back seat for kids. If you want to build something for race, then you're probably gonna be better off with a rhino. If you just plan on duning hard and trail riding fast, the rzr works great. I sat in the teryx and it is a little wider and bigger than a rhino. The motor and frame seem to be stout, but you'll need some mods to go faster, which cost more money.

Because you can build more reliable power out of the rhino motor, and the frame and hubs are built better to handle crashes and rhino to rhino contact during racing. That seems to be where the rzr is having the most problems.

Right now the rzr has a great motor in stock form, and in time, this will change. The rzr has only been out for 1 year compared to the rhino that has been out for 4, and the 660 raptor motor has been around since 2001. So fabricators have many years of R&D on the rhino motor. I'm seeing people spend thousands of $$ on fuel controlers, exhaust, clutches, turbos, etc.. for the rzr, with no major reliable gains. At least not for the $$ spent. It 's just going to take some time and R&D before people see the reliable results they want for the $$ spent. I'm going to leave my motor stock for now, and give it a little more time before I spend my hard earned money. I want to purchase mods that have had long term results, not one trip to the dunes.

Having 2 of the 3 I would say they definatley all have there place. I have a RZR and a Teryx. The RZR is definatley the fastest and the most fun out of the box. I am really excited about the Teryx though. I love the engine and how strong everything seems to be built. I think its going to be a big contender in racing and duning. I also like the option of making it a 4 seater. I will probably end up selling the RZR because I only really need one and the teryx seems to fit me better. Each to there own. I just wish I could have one of each and 10g's to dump into each!

I don't see how anyone can compare a RZR with a Rhino, Ranger or any other of the UTVs. I bought mine because it just plain looks sharp as hell! If the RZR hadn't of come out all that would be in the garage would be our Sportsman 700 & 800. Don't care who's is the fastest the other UTVs just don't appeal to me visually at all.
