The motor will run fine. It will be the pocket book that will run lean if you get caught without it in some areas.

Ya, especially if you start a brush or forest fire! You don't have enough money to cover that!

Cheers

Don't exaggerate. It's only 15 at the crank.

Yeah, it was okay at first but after a month or so of riding, I prefer the quieter version. (never thought I'd say that...)

that is why I asked the question of why you wanted to remove it......was it for more sound or hp ( as some say there is no difference ) ?

I'm just trying to find some free horsepower, that's all

There really isn't any "free horsepower" available in the stock RZR exhaust system. Dyno-testing of most of the aftermarket systems has demonstated that they are not worth the cost (unless you just want to make noise) and that, tuning-wise, Polaris got the exhaust-system pretty much spot-on. And, whichever way you go, make sure that you end-up with a spark-arrestor in the system. To not do so is irresponsible, negligent, and can get costly as hell if you're caught, as some other members on the Forum found out awhile back. My two-bits.......

Cheers
