Re: Wow this forum is down a LOT

I wish I knew a bit more about the proxy deal... I'll look into it, and see if there are any tips or tricks that can help us avoid proxy issues.

Thanks guys, and again I apologize for the inconvenience!

Re: Wow this forum is down a LOT

This happened all the time to me. It has something to do with out servers talking to their servers. There is a fix that works for me. Next time it's down, go directly to the site WITHOUT using a 'www.' That always does it. I think something is screwy with the name server that redirects to their IP. happens on all their forums to me from time to time. Just loose the 'www.' and type in 'rzrforums.com' and it will let you right in the back door

Re: Wow this forum is down a LOT

Well now that I know it's NOT down all the time, I'll try some things as a "work-around".

I had intermittent problems with this site when I was using ie7, but since I switched to FireFox I haven't had any issues.

Re: Wow this forum is down a LOT

ya know, that may have something to do with it. (the browser).

I use Firefox exclusively and no problem - are the folks who are seeing this issue running IE?

Would help if we could discern something in common with the folks having issues and those who aren't.

I use Firefox and the work-around didn't work today...but Brian sez the problem today was real.

I typed rzrforums.net not rzrforums.com is .com the sneaky dog way.

I could connect to rhinofourms.net today thou. But not rzr, teryx, or redline forums.

Re: Wow this forum is down a LOT

Guy48065...The forum is down quite a bit especially during the day...I've tried from several different sources when it does go down and it's not limited to my work computer.

It's like the entire site just doesn't appear and can't be pinged.
