bigger tires

This is a discussion on bigger tires within the Forum Help, Questions and Info forums, part of the Members category; how big can i go without having to lift it? i have heard 27s and 28s but i think 28s would rub. thank you...

how big can i go without having to lift it? i have heard 27s and 28s but i think 28s would rub. thank you

i ran 27 x 12 x12 on stock rims with 1 1/2 spacer's on rear and 27 x 10 x12 on front with no problems till the springs got weak.then the front rubbed a little. they were high lifter outlaw mst's.hope this helps.

Please don't cross post (double post questions) makes it hard for people to follow the thread and respond to your questions.

I know you are new so most probably did not know that this also breaks forum rules. If you just post once, even if it is in the wrong forum it is better, the moderators can always move it if needed.

27'' will rub the inner front fenders with a lift or not. Its not bad but it will rub. Some guys heat it up with a heat gun and push the plastic in a little till it cools to get it to clear.

i run 27x9x12 mud lite xtrs on stock le wheels only rub on front when its covered in mud and weighted down

I run 27x14 xtrs .have 1 inch spacers did rub and had to put on 2 inch lift to clear .

i have 27" mudlite xtr on my rzr and do not have any problem with them rubbing. they are on itp ss wheels

Are you using stock shock and springs .I am going to put on HL springs .

yeah its all stock exceprt for a snorkel. i was trying to get some better mud tires and a little ground clearence without lifting it. i am ok with spacers but dont want to lift it for the tires

High lifter springs are supposed to give you about 1 inch lift and I took my lift kit off going to also order the HL floor board kit .
