Sounds good. Your UHMV skid plate is absolutely awesome. I don't worry about going over sharp object or rocks now as it slides over anything that touches it now. I did have to drill a couple of holes where the Polaris bumper mounts up but it works fine. Not as nice as your holes as I did't get it quite right the first time but it works.

I'm seriously looking at putting a set of 5 point harnesses on the RZR. My only question is where do you mount the lower strap to?

Glad you like the skids Al ! We make a front diff skid that doesn't interfere with the bumper now for those running the front bumpers. As far as the sub belt, we make a custom mount that attaches to your stock hardware...

How much for the 4pts and do they come with installation instructions as i've never put in 4pts or 5pts or seat belts on anything..

These can be either 2 or 3 inch belts, whatever the personal preference. I like the 3's for no real reason other than looks and I like the bigger pads. Are you married to the Y-belt idea? I really don't care for them on the stock RZR hi-backs. Much prefer the 2 into 2 shoulder belts for the stock RZR seats. Let me know and I'll work something up for you Al.

2 or 3 inch? Sewn in harness pads or velcro? Installatrion is very straight forward and yes we'll include instructions. Really a sound safety investment for the RZR by the way whether you buy from us or not. Let me work up a forum member price and post here with pictures...

3" and I'm really not sure about sewn in pads or velcro yet so give me a price for both.

There is a company (I can't remember which one for the life of me right now) that makes a billet plug that goes in the stock seat that lets the Y-harness pass through and anchor behind the seat. I am assuming you like the two strap setup due to the lack of the pass through in the stock seat. Given that option would you recommend the Y-Harness or the two strap set?

We had a customer order the Y-Harness and without the pass through I didn't like it at all, in fact we sent the Y-strap back and got him a duel strap setup and he sent me an e-mail tonight telling me he was really happy with it. The Y-Harness should work great with the UTV Crap billet piece though, just not the stock seat. My personal RZR has 2 belt slots in the seats so the 2 strap works the best for that setup obviously. I like the idea of two straps holding me in, but I'm sure the Y-Strap is more than strong enough to do the job.

What didn't you/he like about the Y harness? I tried both types and couldn't really tell any difference in the Rzr. But this was with 2" straps...I might have felt different about the placement of the wider 3" straps.

BTW Fred Crow recommends the shoulder straps be attached at a point at or below level with your shoulders. Unless you are very tall you can't quite get that with them attached to the roll bar.

I didn't like that the actual Y was up against the back of the seat, which left the sewn on harness pads somewhat short of where they needed to be. Just didn't fit correctly IMHO...

Ahhh...does the 3" kit come with the bolt-down lug included like in the 2" kit? Attach the tail to the frame behind the seat and the length isn't an issue:
