Re: Sneak Peak!! Factory UTV Doors

OK, I have been waiting and no one has asked this question, Are the doors fairly water tight? (not that anything else on the RZR is.)

just from looking at the pictures installed, I would guess that they are not. they don't have seals on the outer edges. their main objective is to keep the occupants safe and in the RZR's.-H

Re: Sneak Peak!! Factory UTV Doors

I stay cleaner since installing the doors. They stop most of the mud thrown by the front tires. The doors will slow down water entry when crossing a stream but there's no seal so it'll run in all around the edges.

My only issue with the doors is there's no bumper at the latch so they rattle. I need to realign mine (I installed them w/out the instructions) and get the latch to insert deeper in the plate and put a piece of adhesive foam between to control the rattling.

Agreed, not designed to be water tight. You could put some weather stripping around the frame though and make it better if that's really important to you...

You can adjust the latches tighter to control that rattling. Mine are rattle free...

Re: Sneak Peak!! Factory UTV Doors

To all looking for future sets of doors. We've decided to send all frames out for powder coat from here on out and this is going to be about a 2 week turn around time. We have several sets going in beginning of next week...
