Gibson Exhaust

Got our hands on the Gibson Exhaust for our project RZR yesterday and did the install today. We went with the stainless steel version and it really is a gorgeous pipe. Install was very straightforward, good instructions, quality pieces and welds throughout. The sound was absolutely magnificent!!! Maybe just slightly louder than stock, but maybe not because we had the bed off for air intake design work, but it's real close. Preliminary seat of the pants opinion is noticeably more power throughout the rpm range, but we need to get out and test and mess with our Boondocker FI settings still to get the maximum benefit. Did I mention it sounded good? Actually we were talking that we'd never really heard anything like it, a little Harley, a little race VW, a little Ducati all mixed in. Love the fact that all the silencing is done mechanically, so now muffler repacking... EVER! Gibson's reputation for truck exhaust is second to none and I believe their UTV exhaust reputation is headed straight in that direction. Great job guys! Will post some pics tomorrow...

Re: Gibson Exhaust

I was thinking about getting a Gibson, but there was a big delay in shipping and there was really no difinitive answer as to when they would actually be available, so I bought a 2 bros. When you post the pics, can you post some dyno numbers as well as a sound clip? If the HP gains are there and the sound is right, I'll ditch the 2 bros and go with them.

Re: Gibson Exhaust

For me the Gibson and Two Bros are pretty close.
I chose the Gibson because of looks and not having to maintain the system.

Re: Gibson Exhaust

Gibson sent us an extra Stainless RZR full system by mistake. Rather than return it, I'll make someone a heck of a deal on it...

PM me if interested

Re: Gibson Exhaust

So there is no confusion, we were charged full dealer price for this exhaust. If they accidentally sent it for free, we would notify them because that's how we do business.
