Maybe just slightly louder than stock, but maybe not because we had the bed off for air intake design work, but it's real close. Preliminary seat of the pants opinion is noticeably more power throughout the rpm range, but we need to get out and test and mess with our Boondocker FI settings still to get the maximum benefit. Did I mention it sounded good? Actually we were talking that we'd never really heard anything like it, a little Harley, a little race VW, a little Ducati all mixed in. Love the fact that all the silencing is done mechanically, so now muffler repacking... EVER! Gibson's reputation for truck exhaust is second to none and I believe their UTV exhaust reputation is headed straight in that direction. Great job guys! Will post some pics tomorrow...

Do you guys work on some intake set up ? Any hint you can give us ?
And by the way your skid plate rock. Installation without any problem.

Re: Gibson Exhaust
As a consumer I wouldn't blame you for buying from them. As a dealer, I am not allowed to advertise Gibson Exhaust, nor can I sell for anywhere near that price.

Re: Gibson Exhaust
I see you’re in Sac so that helps
I have too much in my RZR right now and with $10K needed to complete my backyard it will be a while before I'll be looking to buy a pipe. Do you have a shop? Where are you guys located?

I didn't realize you were in Sac or I would not have posted his price... lol I like how it was edited. Hate to say it but it's hard to make a buck with the Internet. Course I would pay a bit more to a local guy like yourself. Do you have a shop? Where are you guys located?

Sorry, editing someones post makes me sick to my stomach. I sincerely apologize for having to do that. My agreement with Gibson requires me to advertise at MSRP, so my feeling is I can't have links in our forum pointing to something other than that. I think they have the best product out there right now as far as exhaust goes so I'm going to do right by them and honor our agreement. We are currently sharing a warehouse space off of Gerber Rd, but walk up traffic is not allowed unfortunately. We can make other arrangements with local customers though. We are also building our permanent shop near Keifer Blvd and Bradshaw rd, hoping to have it completed by spring.

That's cool good luck to you. One of the Storage facilities I manage is off Stockton Blvd. Super Mini Storage. Right near Gerber Rd.

Re: Gibson Exhaust
hey if any of you dump your two bros for a gibson or anything else, i might be interested in your twobros muffler. on my r1 crossbreed exhaust it's really (really) quiet and i'd like to set up a set of interchangable mufflers so i can have it loud or quiet. one alternative is to get another set of r1 mufflers and do the race baffle mod, but i have one twobros muffler and a pair of those would look pretty sharp.

Re: Gibson Exhaust
sorry about that guys. I guess I better read the rules before I type...my bad. Didn't mean to put you down there, FACTORY UTV, its just that because of this forum, I have found so many deals from other people, I like to share my experiences. I didn't personally go to the vendor page, find you, then write my post. It was the first thread on the home page, and I simply responded. Hope theres no hard feelings. Oh yeah, I don't use a fuel controller, for the dude who asked.

Marty, I've read many of your post's with great interest and respect what your opinion. Curious on your thoughts regarding twin engines and 2 into 1 Vs 2 into 2 exhaust. I know in the Harley world 2 into one is consider a better pipe for the v-twin because of scavenging. What do you think? I'm super happy with the Gibson on our RZR though, it sounds just about perfect to me and definitely gave it a kick in the pants...

I get my Gibson today and looking on your pictures, Gibson must change the headers design. I can't finish installation and make picture, because I can't reuse original gasket for headers, will need to buy new one . But I just put headers with collector together and headers are higher going over valve cover. Will post the pictures when done.

these motors run the same as a harley. wasted spark and everything. i believe they should run better with 2 into 1 and a merge collector but the lte exhaust works really really well as a 2 into 2.
these motors are sensitive to header lengths and header diameters.
my first exhaust was mathematically perfect (i did all of the math and got the header length exactly what was called for as well as diameter) and it didnt work. it was restrictive and the rzr didnt like it..
since then i've done a couple of bigger headers and found a sweet spot and it works well but it doesnt follow my math.. so i walk away perplexed..
i'm sure gibson did a lot of design work, and it should work well, i was really surprised at what a difference 2bros made with just a slip on..
