Re: slp super quiet muffler......

Ive been running this muffler since May, I like it. I dont have a fuel controler or air box. I run a stock air filter. I know the stock exhaust is raspy sounding on the S model. The Super quiet is consideribly better sounding, at idle all you can here is the motor run, lower speeds up to about 30 35 mph, its quieter than stock, you can have a conversation and not be yelling. Once you get to 40 it sounds stock but, a little more throaty, without the rasp but, still quiet. The fit and finish seems good, the welds are clean, and its shiny, whatelse could you want from an exhaust? It comes with a spark arrestor, bushings and brackets, fairly easy to install. As I mentioned I run everything else stock motor wise but tire set up, 9x12 baja cross all around. The power seems the same maybe a little more responsive than stock. Im running a little more weight from my first S. Over all, if you want a quiet exhaust that doesnt rob power, its worth the price tag in my book. I have about 1840 miles on this muffler, still doing its job. Id buy the SLP Super Quiet again without a flinch.

Check this out as an alternative.
I thought about getting one.
You will see one mounted to a RZR
Also look at the Decibel graph.
$145.99 on clearance.

Re: slp super quiet muffler......

I own the SLP as well, good fit, quiet and no noticeable loss of power. Would not like the additional inches hanging off the back that the Kolpin would take. Can just see that tree I back into tight in the woods bending that add on can.

i did this, less than 100$, and I like it. Not super quiet, but a big improvement.
