Re: bikeman pipe , ump intake Do i need a fuel controller ?

Did you read the exhaust shootout posted in here? IMO the BMP was the best for the money across the board. They dyno'd with a power commander. Find the link in here and read it. It is a must read.

Re: bikeman pipe , ump intake Do i need a fuel controller ?

There lies the dilema. If you want it done right you need a module that can read the A/F at different engine speeds. Not neccesarily a dyno but big coin yes. From what I've read, unless you buy a programmer that is already mapped for your mods,it is a little non exact. To be correct again you need the tools to read the parameters.
Someone that comes up with a plug and go programmer will be a wealthy person. It will happen eventually.

Re: bikeman pipe , ump intake Do i need a fuel controller ?

Well i went ahead and ordered it , Maybe once that magazine add shows what settings they used it will be close enough to be alright , if not looks like i wasted 386 bucks for the powercammander

Re: bikeman pipe , ump intake Do i need a fuel controller ?

IMO you have the best core pieces. The BMP exhaust and the PC3. If you take it to the dealer they would probably be able to dial it in for you in an hour. An hours labor. Worth the 60 bucks considering the 800 plus invested to squeeze that extra power/torque and have it running at it's best.

Re: bikeman pipe , ump intake Do i need a fuel controller ?

If you really want to tune your engine right, you need to get a wideband O2 sensor. It will tell you when you have the optimal A/F ratio and you can adjust it throughout the rev. range. This will insure you have the most power your set-up can produce. If you don't think you will be adding anything else to your RZR performance-wise, then you can skip the O2 sensor and have it tuned at a shop.
