RZR 810cc big bore kit
Has anyone tried the trinity racing 810cc big bore kit? What kind of power does it put down and how reliable is it. It is like 1/4 the price of the turbo systems...

Re: RZR 810cc big bore kit
n/m found it.
Here's a direct link to it. I would think a stroker kit if one ever comes out would be better.... just my .02 cents.

Re: RZR 810cc big bore kit
This increases displacment via larger cylinder bore. A stroker kit increases the length of the crankshaft stroke, thus increasing displacment. The stroker kits tend to have a better mechanical advantage (i.e. read longer lever arm) and develop more torque then the same displacment engine utilizing just an enlarged bore. There is a lot more that plays into make good usable power including bore/stroke ratio, cylinder filling properties, cam timing, head flow, etc... Either way, this would be a nice addition, but I would team it up with a stroker crank/rods and do head work if it was me.

all true and while were at it get a crank with 180 deg. pins, eliminate the bal. shaft, build in a distributer and kick some big time butt. expensive, but doable.

Re: RZR 810cc big bore kit
So, what are you going to do about the stock rod with no middle bearing?

who knows, it's just a thought now, but if it happens, MOLDEX will do the crank out of steel billet, and we'll go from there. it might not be feasable to do , due to the deminsional limitations of the crankcase and cyl., will know when the engine is out and apart this winter.

Re: RZR 810cc big bore kit
its a pretty noticeable difference...haven't got it in the woods yet though...just in a field. I also gained 5mph on top speed (according to my speedo...)
