What kinda of oil do all of you use in your front and rear differential. i have water in mine and need to change them. but dont have a polaris dealer that close to me to get the polaris oil. i heard of people use royal pruple in them but dont know if that good on them or not. so if you guys would post and and tell me what you are using would help me out.

I use lucas full synthetic gearcase oil 75-90wt in my rear diff and transfer and gearcase .... the front i use john deere low viscosity hyguard transmission and hydrolic oil yep the front diff need that special oil i dont use any polaris oil products as amatter a fact i use honda gn4 10w40 in my engine i swear by it too....

i swear by Polaris oil ....... i used mobil1 in the motor before the rebuild and it will mix with the polaris oil also if your oils DIRTY there is still like a 1/3 quart still in there , i use the mobile 1 to flush out the motor ! I take 2 quarts, dump them in with the drain pulg out making sure it is going in to a clean pan so u can reuse it run it thru a couple a times and your dirty oil will simply go away ! then refill with good oil and your oil will stay cleaner longer ! also i use the fram filter i dont re 7313 i think ..change oil often , and your motor will love you . also do the front end a lot more too there is only a little oil in there

used amsoil atf in front diff, 75/90 sever gear in rear diff. 5/50 in engine, hot down here, 2000 chain case for trans case and transmission all synthetic, oh yeah, there is a sticky for this

In the rear diff I was using the Polaris gear lube but now I have Redline 75-90 in it. The front diff I only use the polaris stuff, hub fluid or whatever it is called. Transfer case and Tranny I use the Polaris AGL (the purple stuff).

In the motor I have been running Amsoil 4Stroke 0-40.

so it looks like just about everyone use polaris oil. so it there a place where you buy it online. because i cant find anywhere at does.

i have searched my eyes screwy on this as well.......well today i'm getting my 5gal bucket of Mobil 424 hydraulic fluid.

i'll be using mobile 424 in the front diff and trans/transfer

the bucket is free so how can i turn it down....

Chris, what weight of the Redline oil do you use? I used HW in my Hewland sequential transaxle gearboxes in formula cars. The boxes ran at a much higher temp than I would expect in a RZR. The techs at Taylor (who would blueprint our boxes) saw much improved pressure angle wear and less pitting on the gear face when used over other products. I would like to use it in my RZR but was hoping for a guinea pig first!

The shock prof heavy gear oil isnt really rated ... they say it like having 75w250 ... works well both cold ...and really good hot. It pours like thick strawberry milk .... not like you would think with that rating!
