Found some 2009 intake pics

I was doing some searching on the internet and ran across these pics of some intake mods on the 2009 models:



Lip on throttle body:






New boot with bellows:

what is the status on the recalls of the 08 models to put the new design 09 air intakes on the 08s?

Mines in shop now because of dirt past filter.

The current 09 models do not even have this fix. They are the same intakes as the 08 models.

Those factory hose clamps are garbage.. I went and got hydrolic hose clamps.

i put a snorkle kit on my rzr and u can put ur hand over the pipe and choke it down pretty quick. i know that dont mean i dont have a leak but it would have to be very small

Supposedly the upgrades were supposed to come out sometime in September but who knows.

couldn't the people that have had problems with the boot coming off the throttle body just get a small bead or just 3-4 nubs mig welded on the lip of the throttle housing. that would pretty much do the same thing as the "new" updated throttle housing. just a thought.

I have a 09 and have half of the parts listed above. Got the intake with bellows and the small airfilter with pre screening on the left picture. T-body has no lip. Must be a bastard.

according to parts.polarisind
the new filter started being installed on 9/1

PN 1240482 is the new larger filter part number

1240434 Asm., Filter, Intake [Incl. Filter and Foam Seal,29][Built 8/31/08 and Before]
1240482 Asm., Filter, Intake [Incl. Filter and Foam Seal,29][Built 9/01/08 and After]
