Building new motor, interested in suggestions

The block has not been split yet so I am still not 100% sure of the failure, but I have a rod wobbling on the crank. I have pretty much got the pistons figured out, but what about cam and valves.

DDP clutch
FMF exhaust
Fuel programmer
uni filter with snorkels.
15 dry shot of nitrous

Re: Building new motor, interested in suggestions

2 sprays equaling to 6-8 secs worth total. Plugs looked good.

I do not have a service manual in front of me, but I think the lifters went bad. I was told that if you can push them in then they are bad, and that they should be hard to push as they are holding pressure.

I am just looking for any input from the guys running cams. Seeing if they can guide me instead of me just throwing a dart.
