Pissed BELT GONZOO AFTER 660 Miles

Anyone else lost a belt yet and if so how many miles? I ride on flat road 90% of the time.pretty easy on the belt

Also after finding out how to get the cover off and out of the utv i found out my tool box in my rzr needs to be a little bigger. i never knew i had to remove the center frame post that supports the frame and the center plastic console. just a heads up for everyone. make sure you have your tools for the trail and a extra belt !!!!! as i did not

Not nearly as many problems as the rhino! Heck, I switched from that POS rhino to the rzr and have had zero problems so far. My rhino was the biggest pos i've owned. Broken cv's, frame cracks at rear differential, stator problems, 3 fuel pumps, weak clutch, weak engine, gas tank issues, and overheating issues....yeah, the rhino is the last ruv i'd buy again. Oh yeah, did I mention the tie rod end that popped it's joint while going down the trail on it......god I don't miss that machine!

I don't know how long a belt should last, 660 sounds pretty good I'll be happy if I 60 the way I ride.

I'm with you. My Rhino spent way more time in the shop then me RZR. I never got through a vacation that my Rhino wasn't disabled on or before the last day. My friends would get mad and tell me too take it easy till the last day just to make it last. 4 rack and pinions, 7 tie-rods, front diff, front CV, overheating after every mud ride, broken steering wheel, steering wheel getting ripped out of my hands, crappy brakes, 7 sets of rear breaks shoes in 1500 miles, speedo shorting out, ability to start in gear broken, only part of body left after 1500 miles was the front broken hood, bent roll cage, bent dump bed, rattling exhaust, CVT system that can't handle much power over stock. I could go on.

With the speeds that I can go over rough terrain I'm much harder on the RZR almost all my issues I've have are been due to abuse. I can travel at speeds in the RZR that would send the Rhino bouncing off the trail. If you could actually ride as fast in the Rhino as you could in the RZR it would fall apart. Look how modded out they have to be to compete with the RZR in a race.

Re: BELT GONZOO AFTER 660 Miles

660 miles is a long time on belt life. I have 350 miles on mine and its finally starting to slip and i am actually happy its lasted this long. I have exhaust, intake, and fuel controller so i have put a lot of stress on mine. Oh i also do alot of hill climbing on mine. Go ahead and get a rhino, they are to slow to break down. Also they do have problems as well. Everything breaks just give it time.

I also have all the above on my rzr with a LT Kit. On my 4 wheeler i never had to change a belt. I was just Pissed b/c of what you needed to do to get to the belt. If most people blow a belt on the trail they wont have the tools needed to fix the simple belt problem. Oh yah one more thing !!!! I LOVE MY POLARIS RZR AND DUST RHINOS ALL THE TIME !!!!!!
