My RZR has had trouble idling. The air filter was pretty dirty so I blew all the gunk out that really seemed to help. It would idle at like 1100 rpm on a good day, which isnt great. Then it started just shutting down when the rpms dropped to 2000 rpm. I downloaded the blink codes and it showed a 21- loss of synchronization and a 25-not listed in the owners manual. Im sending it to the dealership asap. it has 500 miles on it so it is due a check up. but what does the 25 mean. Has anyone else had this problem. Any replys are greatly appreciated.

On anouther subject Im seriously thinking about buying a hard cab. Are they worth the money?

I think it has something to do with the transmission

The day I bought it, I was checking things out and got the same error 25. Didn't see it in the manual either. Checked again the next day and the error didn't come up. I did notice sometimes when I put it in park the P doesn't show up on the display. Might have to have dealer look at it.

Transmission input- Invaid gear.

Mine wont show park at times. I just rock back and forth and I can hear it lock in and the P shows up on the speedo.

i think the park thing is just a matter of it falling into the teeth,, and the car needs to be rocked a little forward or back to pop in.. we have noticed this too.

25 is there because it does not see it in any gear mostly park. everyone is correct if it does not see it is in a gear for a couple of seconds it will show up just need to rock it a little on level ground till the P on the dash comes on as for as the 21 it is a loss of sincronisation between 2 sensors mine did this and I cleaned out the intake just removed the air filter and sprayed in some carb cleaner and it never returned. This anly happened when I was running a uni filter in exstremely dusty conditions my 800 sportsman did the same thing with a uni fliter maybe oil getting on the throttle plates never happened again when I put the stock filter in.

I have the 25 blink code appearing. I understand that it is not seeing any gear and that rocking it back and forth will make the "P" appear on the speedo. My question is there any way or need to "reset" the computer and make the check engine symbol go away?

As for as 25 it will not hurt anything if the code is in there if you want to get rid of it unhook the battery for about 30 seconds it will leave but it will not hurt anything to let it go. I have a soft cab and it is great about 545.00 did you get the idle problem fixed? I had this problem and removed the air filter and shot a little carb cleaner in it and it fixed the problem. Idleing to slow will cause a loss of sincronization and send the cade.

If you are talking about the wrench flashing at startup this is a service reminder. Your owners manual has the proceedure to reset, or turn of the service reminder.
