trouble idling

Me and a bunch of my buddies were ridin up in the mountains the other week at a pretty slow speed. When we stopped my rzr was barely idling. It usually idles around 1200 rpm but it was idling at 800 and even died a few times. It still ran alright and after I rode it a little faster it started idling at 1200 again. Is there something wrong with my machine or is this normal? Why does it do this?

Thanks for any help,
Christian Baker

Re: trouble idling

Intake air leak; throttle cable position and anchorage (look here first); coil pack moisture...unplug your battery for about 10 minutes and see if the idle resets.
