Polaris jerking and bouncing

Is there anything that you can do to keeping the RZR from jerking and bouncing you back and forth when you drive it at low speeds. I bought a new gas pedal from Lonestar racing and that hasn't helped. Does polaris have a fix for it? It's very annoying when driving and the RZR is jerking you back and forth.

Lonestar and KMS Performance both have stiffer springs that you can try.

Re: Polaris jerking and bouncing

I bought KMS stiffer spring off Ebay: eBay Motors: POLARIS RZR RANGER THROTTLE SPRING HEAVY DUTY (item 120168465673 end time Oct-10-07 09:21:56 PDT)
And also ordered some Hunter works Dimond plate floor covers: Yamaha Rhino Accessories Polaris RZR 800 Accessories Arctic Cat Prowler Yamaha Rhino Accessories - Polaris RZR Aluminum Floor Mats

The spring was cheap and I thought the diamond plate was priced well. I have not yet received the Diamond plate nor installed the spring but I have read that the spring helps alot and either rubber or some kind of floor mat to keep your foot from moving around also helps. At 270lbs I really wanted to strength the floor and distribute the weight better.

Re: Polaris jerking and bouncing

Has anyone tried the KMS spring or the Lonestar spring? If so did they work?

Try positioning your foot slightly to the right, and hinge off the interior wall/ floor, so as to gain stability. Cost = $0, result = satisfaction. Works for me.

or you can always do a lighter spring for a little more belt slip at low power

Re: Polaris jerking and bouncing

The problem got better for me when I installed 4 point seat belts. They keep your body from bouncing around.

Re: Polaris jerking and bouncing

I ordered the KMS spring off ebay. Took about a minute to install but I did add a metal washer on the outside of the plastic floor board/firewall where the spring attaches. Road about 6 hours yesterday - 100% improvement over they way it was before installing the new spring.

I rode mine about 7 hours or so yesterday and notice the jerky throttle.. I am going to try the spring as well. I did noticed locking my foot would help some though...
