Weep hole oil leak

Two questions.
1. The schematic on Don Woods Polaris site does not show the seal. It shows the bearing on the pump side and the water pump seal but not the rubber seal that goes in the stator cover. Where do I get that part #?
2. The service manual says the stator cover must come off which means the engine must come out. It looks like it could be done with just the water pump removed. Wishful thinking?
Thanks,
Don

No i think the seal has to be put in from the inside of the stator cover. If it was leaking water instead of oil it would be the seal behind the water pump cover and could be put in with the engine in. Mine was leaking water from the weep hole had to take it to the shop they said if it was leaking oil instead of water it would be an hour job. So I would bet money the engine has to come out. Do you have a warranty? I hate that for you man.

Ya. I was wondering. Don't think those guys are that fast. It does look like it goes in from the water pump side in the service manual but they say it will damage the shaft if you try to remove or install it with the cover in place.
