rzr 4 sputters,backfires,stalls out

my new rzr4 runs perfect for about the first 10 minutes.Then a noise similar to knocking valves starts followed by massive power loss & lots of sputtering and popping.Turning it off and restarting it fixes it...for about 10 minutes,then the same all over again!The dealer I bought it from has had it for 8 days now and can't figure it out.They say the computer isn't registering a code so they don't know whats wrong.Any ideas out there?

low voltage?
bad fuel pump?

That sucks. Sorry to hear that. There's nothing worse than buying a toy and it being in the shop

my guess would be the oil pressure reg. it's letting the lifters colapse/or pump up or something along those lines..

if computer - ecm isnt registering code , then put new computer -ecm in it , should be fixed then . computers - ecm,s , cdi,s, ignition box , black box , whatever u wana call it , they go bad all time

sounds like its an oil pressure problem to me.

could also be debri in the oil sump plugging the screen up...let sit and it settles to the bottom start and run it sucks it back up then as mike said looses oil presure

I would check the vent line to the fuel tank also..or try running with the cap loose..
