RZR Dual Exhaust

Just saw an HMF Dual Exhaust on eBay today! Kind of spendy but they say a 15hp gain. Man I bet it sounds good on that 800 twin!

Re: RZR Dual Exhaust

Several people on another forum expressed extreme pessimism over the horse power claims, and to tell you the truth I am having a hard time believing the manufacturer’s claims also. What is that about a 33% plus HP gain?

Polaris would have had to really screw up in their engineering of the stock pipe for it to possible to have that kind of HP increase. Do you think Polaris is that incompetent? I do not know the answer to that question, as this is my first experience with Polaris.

I hear ya! Just can't imagine that they did that bad of an engineering job! It just seemed cool. Although a cool slip-on seems to me to be the Two-Bothers system. I ain't paying 800 clams for a looker/noisey exhaust for sure and I hope if people do spend that they can have something to say for it. I just posted in hopes of feedback because these machines are indeed so new. I found a new guy in my research who seems to be a decent guy.
It's a guy in MI or MS called Yamaha Rhino Accessories Polaris RZR 800 Accessories Arctic Cat Prowler Yamaha Rhino Accessories - Home. He seems to have some good UTV experience and as RZR/Rhino stuff on Youtube! I bought from Dragonfire and will say they're OK but typical hotshot CA stuff. Seatbelts are seemingly good but shipping is STOOOPID!! But I don't want to make em mad! I mean c'mon ...a 7000 dollar BBQ on a Rhino Frame! Can't blame 'em for wanting to make a buck though! So Two Brother's Exhaust or Big Gun! But....The trick will be who has the best EFI box with O2 sensor to make it all work in unison! Check out Hunterworks too!

Re: RZR Dual Exhaust

Polaris screwed up the clearance between the exhaust header and the fender well. Mine melted some plastic first time out (breakin riding in cool weather)..... and others have also..... now that's not good engineering.... I will be looking for a aftermarket that solves this problem.
Now we will see if polaris goes good for the fender trim..
