Air box upgrade
The guys over at KMS performance put there new air box mod on my RZR.
I got to say I didn’t think it would make a difference…I was surprised. I would recommend this to others. It uses the stock air box so you can still run in water but they change the filter and intake.

Big Dog, Hook Us Up With The Info, I Am Also Interested... I Get Wet Some Times, Don't Really Want That Desert Can Filter.
Thanks.

Re: Air box upgrade
Summer is almost here & the dust will be boiling, I couldn't wait any longer to get my RZR ready. Since I don't plan on using it for a submarine, I skipped the snorkel fix & went with the "Grumpy" fix. Sealed up the air intake with black foam spray, added a few pieces of weatherstrip, cut a hole between the seats & added a pre filter with a speaker cover over it, works great. Went on my first ride last weekend & I'd bout swear it had a little more power than before. Sorry, no pics at this time.

Re: Air box upgrade
Ok I think some of you may have misunderstood me. when I said “with the KMS air box you could go in the water”, I didn’t mean you could go swamping. I met you could do your normal riding in the mud and snow just like the stock air box. Without having a exposed air cleaner.

Re: Air box upgrade
pics of my air box after dealer did recall. all thay did was put some black foam on the frame at the bottom of the box and caulk the inlet for air filter housing. thay dident even clean the air box. I dident want to spend alot of money due to april trip so this is what i did. I had a outerwares cover for a air filter so i cut it and coverd the hole in the air box and i also had a filter so i modified it to cover the clutch outlet. this should get me by for now.
