Re: Help Please

sportsman ecu is pretty much the same..
you can take it to the dealer and let them look at it, but more satisfaction will come from fixing it yourself..

check the injector wires, make sure their both plugged in and in the right order..

if that's ok, put a meter on your tps signal wires..
make sure it reads about .739 at idle. if it doesnt, do a tps initialization.
also check the sweep, if the tps is bad that will mess you up too. wot should be in the 3.75 - 3.8v range

tps can cause all kinds of wierd problems, that voltage is what sets your ignition timing and fueling.

if it still doesnt run right, check fuel pressure at the schrader valve (37psi) you dont need a fancy fuel pressure tester. you can use a tire gauge just dont let it squirt gas in your eye.

Re: Help Please

there is a procedure in the service manual look under fuel injection it tells how to do it. you dont need the tps test harness just use the 5v vref from the ecu.
