Re: Thorttle cable snapped

the cable was 35.00 it was kinda a pain because you have to move one of the snorkel pipes to get to the screw on the throttle body cover. took me a while but i like to clean everything i find when things are apart.

Thumbs down Re: Thorttle cable Frozen

My throttle cable froze for the 3rd time. Dealer installed same new cable. I was towed back by a RHINO,how embarising! Could you imagine if it stuck while riding! Also beware of AWD on hard pack snow and ice, when throttle is chopped it will go into a spin, must get back on throttle quick. this is a real safety issue! Regular 4wd would have been better with a front locker. also front wheels have play in them.

Re: Thorttle cable snapped

When I pick mine up, I'm going to make the dealer promise to warranty throttle cables. Polaris should eat them.

Re: Thorttle cable snapped

a question for the people that broke throtle cables, were any of the cables in question luricated im concerned about water/dust settling at the low point with no where to go but rust, the lithium grease is a good idea and probly stop anything like that from entering
