Anyone Burn Up A Drive Belt With Only 3 Trips To Glamis?
I Have Only Had My Rzr Out 3 Times To Glamis, and With Only About 226 Miles On It And The Belt Already Burned Up. The Dealer Tells Me That Thats Normal, and Will Continue To Happen In The Sand. I Have The Exact Same Wheel And Tire Size As Stock, and No Motor Work At All. Is Anyone Running Into The Same Problem?

Re: Anyone Burn Up A Drive Belt With Only 3 Trips To Glamis?
What do you mean by it burned up?
I just did 90 miles in Glamis and my belt seems ok. Pretty aggresive driving trying to keep up with newer 450 quads. Climbed Olds about 6 times attempted China Wall twice. I aired down to about 5 PSI. I also have the speed limiter out of the clutch.
Did you break the belt in like the book says.

Re: Anyone Burn Up A Drive Belt With Only 3 Trips To Glamis?
Blew mine this weekend. 600 miles or so. 3rd trip as a matter of fact. My son and his friends were having Rzr races at Olds Saturday night just before sundown when it blew coming off the line. I'm going to check out a DFR clutch kit with belt.

Re: Anyone Burn Up A Drive Belt With Only 3 Trips To Glamis?
I've owned several quads withe the cvt tranny. From personal experience, if you get them in a bind and keep hammering on it to get out of bind, you will smoke your belt and sooner than later it will break. I don't know everyone situation, so not saying that's the problem. Also if feel the cvt cover after a moderate ride, its very warm...Constant hard riding could, i said could, burnup a belt.
