THANK mdevans I pretty much understand how the clutch system works, but knowing who to talk to for the real answers for setting these things up is worth a million. THANKS AGAIN, John

The spacer it comes with is not a speed spacer ... atleast the one that comes with just their Severe Duty Belt ... its an engagement spacer ... it goes on the outside of the assembly between the clutch cover and the stock large metal washer on the large clutch bolt.

Re: Clutching Is Key

I think im gonna try holz front and rear clutch spring. its only $35. if it works i will save alot of money. if it dont work. its only $35. im gonna test the cdi box first. than install springs without clutch spacer. is there a thiner spacer on the market. i would like to use one. im also gonna use the polaris heavy duty belt. im thinking i might sell the cdi box. i hope to get $399. if it pulls the wheel's off the ground i will keep it. but i dont think the box is doing me any good for the way i have my rzr set up. i think fmf slip on exhaust and slight clutch mod will give me a better hole shot. than the cdi box will. if i dont keep the box who wants it for $399 it cost $300 for a stock cdi and $399 for programing.

Re: Clutching Is Key

i got the two springs from holz, think there great, gives you approx 300-400 rpm before they engage then they down shift quicker, made a big difference,no top end but lets you accelerate quicker and is great for tight courses when your in and out of the gas alot

Re: Clutching Is Key

Does changing the springs take away from top speed? I am looking on getting an aggresive clutch set up. Which will give me the best all around performance.(acceleration, and top end) Any advice I will be running LTE's dual exhaust with LTE's EFI Controller, and stock tires. If I hit the rev limiter I will get the ecu reprogramed then. Thanks.
