Re: ideas on snorkel kits

We just took the stock filter housing out an drilled holes into the bed an then ran pool hose to the belt housing discharge an the intake then to the air intake. Ran the hose into a coupling an attached chrome turn downs. Could post some pics if you wanted.

Im thinking of moving my filter housing up by the roll bar. I need to come up with a bracket and bolt it to the roll bar. also need to come up with an idea for clutch snorkle. show us your pics.

Re: ideas on snorkel kits

Thanks guys. Me and my buddy just bought one snorkel kit for our RZR's. Evidently you can buy the same stuff at your local home depot for about 15 dollars. so we are buying one and making another. I will post pics and measurements as soon as we get them. We also bought a 3 inch lift and plan on fabricating another set (perks of having a stepdad in the machine business).

I will be making my own to. It is nothing but painted PVC piping and cutting 3 holes in your plastic housing above your belt cover.

For turning your Rzr into a PWC you can't beat the pipe organ behind your head
To just get more clean air into the filter cannister I would think it would be good to just move the CVT intake somewhere else so the engine doesn't compete with it for the air through the little slot in the hood. So far I don't think anyone has done just that, though.

This is what a friend did on his. The air filter is not what is being used. That is what we use on our Turbo snowmobiles.
