Windrock cabins

Our group is going to Windrock for spring jam and of course we waited to late to get a cabin at the park. Question is does anyone know of any cabins for rent in the general area we could rent dont mind to trailer in each day as long as its within resonable distance. 10 to 15 miles. we should have around 14 of our group coming so need a cabin that will accomadate that, Thanks

They are on the 4 lane close to where you turn off on to Windrock Road. About 2 miles from the trail head. Not a cabin but they might have room for your group.

Re: Windrock cabins

Give Wess a call he helps with the rentals at Windrock Atv Lodge. They have a couple of rentals that are about 8 miles from the park but they have 2 units, with a big pole barn for cooking, showering, etc. They have 2 bed, full kitchen, living room. pretty nice for what they charge. So maybe this will help, let him know that Anthony from Florida told you guys about those units. His #865-244-7045

Re: Windrock cabins

A winch is always helpful. Newbies and trails 12 and 39 don't mix well. Keep away from them unless you want to be there all day

Re: Windrock cabins

I would say you will need extra gas over a winch. Go over to the windrock Atv club forum and a member by the name of Dan has the entire areas trail system on google earth. That will help you see what is there and plan a couple routes
