AZ grinder stone whiplash race

I got to say I had a great time at the grinder stone whiplash race. The course was always changing some times it was a mud fest and other times you couldn’t see two feet because all the dust. I had some great battles with a lot of people. I lost a rear brake line about half way through the race and if wouldn’t have been for that, the KMS performance, Full throttle Junkies .com RZR ran flawless. This is our second win in a row and our first overall win and I couldn’t be more pleased with the car. I even got a chance to meat some new racers this weekend.

Congratulations to all the people who placed it was a great race.

It was nice meeting you to, one of these days we will get on the track together and beat up on those rhinos. Those were some good photos you took. As you can see I grabbed a couple.
The made the springs in the rear are 350/250 with 15 wt oil

Re: grinder stone whiplash race

Good Job Ray! We ended up fifth. Considering the carnage, not too bad. Danny stopped and helped Bronco Dan after he flipped off the course and down in a ravine upside down. BD was unconscious for a minute, but came around and Danny helped flip the car right side up. Unfortunatly he was used up at that point and came to the pit and we put Jason in as our driver. He hadn't driven that car since Firebird and by that time the course was pretty bad in places. Jason did awsome.
We managed to fry yet another Gorilla axle including the leather protecting bootie. To me the funniest part is I helped out a couple of other people and one of them still managed to beat me. Matt Kimmerle blew a belt on the Tom Car and he stopped opposite my pit on the track. Danny and I ran over to see what was going on and he threw a new belt out the window at me. We burned the crap out of our arms and hands and with new belt he went on to get a third, in my class and he is the first place point leader, we are second. I gotta quit pitting these guys so fast or something. I love the fact that whiplash folks are all brothers in the end. We race, but we have fun and take care of each other. I can't wait for the Snowflake Run!

That was nice of you to change his belt. But if he is front of you in points that means he is in front of me in points…what were you thinking…lol

This photo was taken at the same race. I’m just not ready to completely give up the quads yet.
