Setting off to Alice springs - NT Australia for one of Australia's tuffest races.
RZR has had over 300 hours of time, love and mostly money chucked at it to try and do the job of finishing.
The 35 year old race from Alice Springs to Finke community and back the next day, (530 km's of Desert) will test everyone.

Have a look at Welcome to the Finke Desert Race- Finke Desert Race, Alice Springs Australia.
There will be around 500 2 wheeler's.
About 70 full blowen 75 - 400k off road buggies.
And 40 quads (no stock ones out here).
It runs in some of Australia's tuffest terrain.
We built the car as if I was driving it but I'm racing the track on my Outlaw 525 s to keep an eye on the boys (never raced off road before).
This is going to be good.
Started over a $20.00 bet. - go figure that!

How did you go?

Well I dont have much good news.
Got 120kms down the track and broke both rear drive shafts
The rest of the unit was running like a dream
Bit pissed but that racing
Whats the best shafts, cost is not the problem
362 more sleeps and we're on again
