Re: Page Whiplash

Wow what a weekend. I first want to say thanks to all involved getting us to our first podium. Ironcity polaris for their support,Zmr for building a great car,Torry and the boys at FST for the suspension and extras,Todd Douglas without him I would not be racing, and the XX ARMY guys and gals make it fun to go racing.
WE drew last starting spot again was not real happy. I knew dust was going to be the main issue starting last. I had passed all but Ray Adcox by the 4th lap, He is driving the Kms rzr(great race ray) I was about half way through the 5th lap whan I felt the car make a hard right turn.
I had felt this many time before I knew I had broke an axle or cv(gorilla). I called in on radio to let Todd know that I was going to stop for a axle swap. He said they were ready and waiting. I pull in hit my mark, car goes up 7min later off I go. I was passed by 3 cars and was hostil about losing my 2nd place.
I took off and by the end of lap 7 I had caught 2 of the 3 cars that had passed. I now was looking for the Tomcar driven by a good friend Matt Kimmerle. He had gotten around the other racers and was running well. I could see him as I got to the top of the trail, he was at the bottom. He had about a mile or so on me. I was now on the last lap and pushing the rzr as hard as i could. I started to get into the dust of the tomcar 4miles out from finish. I knew I had a chance of getting by him, it came in a sweeping right turn on top of a rocky corner. He went wide I put the nose of the rzr inside and hit the gas. Bam hit the burm and the gas made the pass never looked back.
I now was back in second and hammering down looking for the first place rzr, but Ray had checked out and was already finishing. My rzr was running great and drove better then ever. Last lap of the day I set the classes fastest time of 9:13 and ended up 2nd. Thanks all who have stuck by us through all the set backs and now looking forward to a great season. I am now second in points and trailing 1st by 6points.
Thanks Danny

Re: Page Whiplash

The way it sounds is that rzr's went 1-2 at bitd bluewater and 1-2 at page whiplash. Good job to all the teams and drivers that competed in these races.

Thanks to ALL our sponsers for allowing us to Race. Thanks to Tory and Jeff and the crew at FST. you guys have been good to work with.
Thanks to Danny for holding in some of his race disease until the finish was in sight. Just kidding buddy.
As for Arizona's law enforcement... good luck getting finger prints off me for a while.
