They dont like the racers...they dig big holes intended as booby traps for the guys racing on bikes...I wouldnt go to mexico on vacation if they paid me to go. Fuck them. I already feel like im living in mexico anyway, why do i need to go down there?...ive been boycotting that hell fore saken place for years now.

They are too stupid to see the finacial benifit that the baja races bring to them. It is too bad that BLM has put a strangle hold on land in this country to have these races here.

Terrible Herbst (and several other teams) stopped racing there due to corruption.
They had to fly their helicopter home on diesel fuel bought at the Pemix station because only 100 of the 700 gallons of JP4 they bought actually showed up. Authorities confiscated a lot of their vehicles, bribes,, on and on goes the stories. When you are down there the thugs have you by the nut sac. Sal Fish,, president of the race, never comments on the graft,, or as it's known there "mordida".
