Welcome to the Soboba Grand Prix official website! its located in Hemet California.

Its a 1 hour +1 lap desert race. Land rush start, everyone lines up straight across. The narrow area is the off-road section(about 2 miles), the rest of the course is man made and easilly accomidates 2 utv's with long travel.

We will have 3 Race RZR's there.. and doing some more testing with the +8 XTR kit we are developing.

Makin' Trax Suspension had a pretty good day! Congrats to Chris Rademaucher (ravencr) for his 6th place in his stock arm RZR with AFCO MT2 shocks. This was Chris's first race in any form of motorsports. He actually had worked his way into third behind I believe Chad Spooner and Chad Mattig. Then his testasorone invaded his brain and he flipped it over a whoop section. While on his head he lost 5 positions. I informed him that had he remained calm, Spooner broke out and Mattig limped in, he would have won! Great performance from a stock arm first timer.

As well, we are so very proud of Cody Rahders. He is 13 years old and I got to tell you he his going to be a force to reckn' with in the future. He rounded the first turn, second to last. He systematically worked his way through the field in his stock 660 with AFCO MT1 shocks. He and Mikef (Rhinoforums.net) had a great race. Every lap Mike stayed so close he could have handed Cody a tissue. When they took the white flag, Cody finally sneezed allowing Mike to get by. But Mike ended up with mechanical problems that slowed him up at the end. Great racing Cody and congradulations on your 13th place finish. We are proud of you!

James Hill also was on AFCO MT2 shocks and stock arms. He had an unfortunate flip after being blinded in a mud hole and lost 2 laps doing repairs. He got her going and showed his stuff. We are very proud of James also. I love a guy that never gives up. See you all at Elsinore.

Oh yeah, big congrats to Doug Mattig! 14 years old and comes in 4th. Awesome. You boy better look out there is a whole new crop of wheel men coming!!!!!
