Recommended Skids That Work W/ Rock Sliders?

Looking to buy skid plates but I am a bit overwhelmed with all the different ones out there. Can any of you guys recommend a set that will work with rock sliders but don't cost a fortune?
Thanks

Our skid plate kit will work with rocksliders. Belly pan is UHMW, front and rear diff skids aluminum, side/rocker panel skids aluminum. Here are a couple pictures of our kit. The second picture shows the two rocker panel skid options.
I dont know what you would consider a fortune- Ours retails for $475 for everthing in the pic

I'd be happy to take some pictures of my UHMW skid for you. Of course, I'd prefer you buy a Mudinyeri skid.

I do mostly rock crawling so it takes a lot of abuse.

I just ordered the skids. Can you tell me what size tap I need to have? Anything else I might need to purchase? I want to have everything here and ready when they arrive.

Here's what you'll need for the install:

Required Tools
• ½” Drive Power Drill
• 3/16” Drill Bit
• Socket Wrench (Air wrench preferred, cordless driver/drill will also work well)
• 4mm Hex Drive Bit
• 9/16” Socket
• 9/16” Combination Wrench
• Center Punch
• ¼” -20 Thread Tap
• Engine Hoist/Shop Crane or Jack and Jack Stands
• Blue Thread Lock (optional)

You need one that works with the Polaris sliders, right?

Re: Recommended Skids That Work W/ Rock Sliders?

I made mine out of 3/8 UHMW. Works great. I usually do the same thing "40 or 50 mph and oopps!" and mine have held up great. tore the facotry one up on first ride.

Re: Recommended Skids That Work W/ Rock Sliders?

Check out our RZR UHMW skids. We are a forum sponsor and offer discounts to forum members. Our skids are the only ones I know of that are properley set up to run the Polaris washers that allow the skids to shift during frame flex. We take the extra time and effort to do things the right way
