looking for RZR Front and rear bumpers

I am looking for RZR Front and rear bumpers that are not going to add to much weight but also look good I like the factory pre-runner bumpers but I dont like the top loop and light tabs. I also don't like how far they stick out. I would like a tight fitting bumper just to add a little protection for the front and rear plastic.

Re: looking for RZR Front and rear bumpers

Inhave front and rear for sale, front is a pro lift bumper, looks ike the Baja bumpr just doesn't stick out, rear is the baja bumper. There is some dings on the bash plate of the front bumper, with the bumper on you cant see them as they are on the bottom.
$100 for both plus shipping from 23005.

Re: looking for RZR Front and rear bumpers

I hate to be persistent, but the salesman in me couldn't help it.
The UTV Crap bumper with paint is only $50 cheaper than ours.
I'm not saying anything bad about their product, except that it's not ours
Ours does mount to the frame (not radiator) so we can actually call it a bumper. It also includes the nice wrap around skid plate.
I know most outfits offer discounts to forum members, we do the same.

HAVE YOU LOOKED INTO THE DELUX FRONT AND REAR BRUSH GUARD THEY STAY CLOSE TO THE BODY AND GO AROUND THE HEADLIGHTS AND TAIL LIGHTS. I CAN GIVE THEM TO YOU FOR AROUND 325.00 PLUS TAX AND SHIPPING. I WORK FOR A POLARIS DEALER IN TENNESSEE.

Re: looking for RZR Front and rear bumpers

Guys I think the bumpers that attach to the tabs in front of the radiator, like the Polaris bumper, are a really bad idea.

Any small bump and you are walking home from a broken radiator.
Whoever thought that was a good place to mount a BUMPER obviously does not ride.

I like the Holz except it looks like you have to remove the lower plastic to use it. Maybe not but it looks that way in the pics. Holztech?

I like Trail Armors bumper. Saw it at the UTVrally in Moab. Mounts the right way and actually protects things. BTW, the "hoop" on top is designed to keep the top of your radiator from being smashed if you roll or land on your top. So you are less likely to walk home. www.trailarmor.com

I wish the hoop was a full on stinger coming up about 6-8" higher. Stingers keep you from flopping straight over on your top if you are in very steep terrain or ledges and the RZR wants to tip over forward.

Yes, the lower plastic on the front of the RZR will have to come off when installing our bumper. It's much easier build/mount to the frame with out that piece there.
Besides, the bumper and skid plate look cooler IMO. The plastic doesn't serve much purpose other than maybe splash some mud or water away, it wont have as much impact resistance.

Re: looking for RZR Front and rear bumpers

I recently ordered the Holtz bumper, I have not got it yet, they were going to weld some light tabs on there for me ( no extra charge ) then get it powdered coated, so it was not a in stock type of order.

The reason for the post is the front plastic piece – what would be the advantage to leaving it on, if there is a advantage I do not mind the extra work of using a dermel.

Holtz – could it really be left on do you think? sorry i don't know your name we delt thru email and i never asked my name is Rusty

Re: looking for RZR Front and rear bumpers

Not trying to pee on anyones sales pitch, just going to address his original question.

I just saw some aluminum front and rear bumpers. I "believe" they are pure polaris too, and believe me, I am not a huge fan of pure polaris products even though that is what my RZR is front to back. Waiting on my mandrel bender then will make some cool stuff. Of course I would not be able to do it without everyone posting awesome pics of what they have done.
